Today, a ceremonial welcome was held at Tashkent International Airport for the winners of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup — the Uzbekistan U-17 national football team.
At the prestigious tournament held in Saudi Arabia, the Uzbekistan team demonstrated great courage and claimed the Asian Cup title, opening a new and glorious chapter in the history of Uzbek football.
Upon their return home, the players, their coach, and sports commentators were awarded honorary titles and medals. In addition, gifts from the Head of State — Chevrolet vehicles — were ceremoniously presented.
The young players received Chevrolet Cobalt vehicles, while their coach was awarded a Chevrolet Equinox. The award ceremony was held at a high level and created a festive atmosphere for all attendees.
